OUR MISSION
Growing educated leaders is a nonprofit organization empowering children and adults with intellectual, physical, and socio-economic disabilities by providing opportunities for them to develop mentally, physically, and emotinal confidence by engaging with members of our society from all walks of life.
To achieve this mission:
1. We offer detailed curricular guidance and materials to schools, teachers, parents, and policy makers.
2. We offer transportation services for courses and/or appointments.
3. We provide safe environments for community members to interact with one another and build a sense of brother and sisterhood.
4. We provide community activities for those with physical and mental disabilities to come and enjoy.
5. We help formerly troubled individuals looking to assimilate in to society with finding jobs, schools, social groups, and therapy for those in need.
Our Story
The company was founded in 2018 as a source of assistance for young men and women from troubled environments and in need of assistance with basic necessities that would spearhead their academic goals towards a prosperous career. However, the organization has since expanded to providing support for people from all walks of life seeking guidance, companionship, academic, and/or emotional support.We are a dedicated team of individuals at Growing Educated Leaders Inc. who intend to help our community develop stable and fruitful lifestyles.
Our efforts involve working with young adults intended on accomplishing their academic and professional goals. Working with special needs children by helping them find new and fun ways to fit into and mingle with their community. Overall, we assist with providing a variety of outlets that help each individual achieve their desired goals.
Additionally, we assist at risk youths and adults in need of employment with job readiness and employment searches. Some examples of our job readiness efforts include applying for jousting applications and building resumes. We make use of the old fashioned buddy system which provides a hand-in-hand mentor like transitional experience to help accomplish everyone’s individual goals.
Our company’s core value is to help our community build and thrive off the success and confidence of one another. Learning from one another supports each other in reaching their full potential. We intend to continue opening the doors to diversity, leading the way for a better and brighter future.
